Recently, a stunning transitional-style kitchen and laundry cabinets project was completed in Bothell. The design featured a harmonious blend of traditional and contemporary elements, resulting in a timeless and elegant space. The kitchen, in particular, showcased several eye-catching features and finishes.
The cabinetry played a pivotal role in defining the overall aesthetic. Shaker doors were selected, which added a touch of classic appeal while maintaining a clean and modern look. To create a bright and airy atmosphere, a white paint finish was applied to both the base and upper cabinet doors. The crisp white color brought a sense of freshness and made the kitchen feel open and spacious.
In contrast to the white cabinetry, the island was painted in a sophisticated silver gray shade. This choice added depth and visual interest to the space, while also serving as a focal point. The silver gray paint beautifully complemented the surrounding white cabinets, creating a cohesive and balanced design.
To enhance the overall aesthetic and add a touch of elegance, chrome hardware was chosen. The sleek and polished finish of the hardware added a modern edge to the transitional style, while also providing a functional element for easy access to the cabinets and drawers.
The functionality of the kitchen was optimized through thoughtful additions. Solid wood drawer boxes were incorporated, ensuring durability and longevity. A spice rack was cleverly integrated, allowing for convenient organization and quick access to essential ingredients. Pull-out shelves were also included, making it effortless to reach items stored in the back of cabinets and maximizing storage space. Other insert appliances, such as dividers and organizers, were seamlessly incorporated into the cabinetry design to further enhance efficiency and organization.
Overall, this recently finished project in Bothell successfully combined transitional style with practicality and charm. The shaker doors, white and silver gray paint finishes, chrome hardware, and well-thought-out storage solutions created a stunning kitchen that effortlessly merged traditional and contemporary elements.
