For the kitchen cabinets project in Mercer Island, we created a stunning design with a transitional style that combines elements of traditional and contemporary aesthetics. The primary focused on installing shaker-style doors painted in a rich, dark purple color. Additionally, we incorporated round doors in the corner cabinets and add floating shelves for a modern touch. Let’s delve into the details:
Shaker-Style Doors: The kitchen cabinets feature shaker-style doors, which are known for their clean lines, simplicity, and timeless appeal. These doors are custom-made and carefully painted in a striking dark purple color, creating a bold and elegant look. The dark purple hue adds a touch of sophistication while maintaining the overall transitional style.
Corner Cabinets with Round Doors: To maximize storage and enhance visual interest, we installed round doors on the corner cabinets. These rounded doors provide a unique focal point and break the monotony of traditional rectangular cabinets. The round doors can be made from the same material as the shaker-style doors and painted in the same dark purple shade to ensure a cohesive design.
Floating Shelves: To introduce a contemporary element and display decorative items or frequently used kitchen essentials, we incorporated floating shelves. These shelves strategically placed on suitable walls, providing both functionality and aesthetic appeal. The floating shelves can be crafted from high-quality wood and finished in a complementary color, such as a lighter shade of purple or a contrasting neutral tone.
Overall, this kitchen cabinets project in Mercer Island transformed the space into a captivating blend of transitional style and modern elements. The shaker-style doors in dark purple paint serve as the focal point, while the inclusion of round doors in the corner cabinets and floating shelves elevate the overall design. The result is a kitchen that combines traditional charm with contemporary flair, creating a visually striking and functional space for you to enjoy.
